eclicktech Attends the 2024 Amazon Advertising UnBoxed Event: Three Key Marketing Trends to Watch

On November 5-6, Amazon Advertising held its annual UnBoxed on Tour event in Shenzhen, China. During the event, Amazon Advertising shared the latest global marketing trends and a series of upgrades to its advertising products and technological solutions aimed at enhancing ad relevance and cross-channel marketing effectiveness. Daisy, CEO of eclicktech attended the event with her team and the company’s programmatic-focused digital advertising platform, Yeahmobi. Daisy participated in high-level strategic meetings and discussions on optimizing advertising campaigns, specifically focusing on Prime Video advertising products.
Since Yeahmobi officially became an Amazon Advertising partner, it has fully integrated with Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform), offering advertisers a range of advertising solutions across popular services like Prime Video, Twitch, Fire TV, Alexa, Amazon Music, as well as third-party publishers, websites, and apps outside of Amazon. During the summit, Amazon Advertising shared three major trends for Chinese outbound advertisers and launched several new products and ad-tech solutions.
Three Major Trends in Chinese Outbound Advertising:
1. Continuous Growth of Chinese Outbound Advertisers. As of September 2024, the number of active Chinese advertiser accounts on Amazon has increased by more than 15% compared to two years ago.
2. Significant Growth in Emerging Markets. In emerging markets such as the UAE, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Singapore, and Turkey, the number of active Chinese advertiser accounts grew by more than 60% as of September 2024, compared to two years ago.
3. Rising Popularity of Video Marketing. Video marketing, with its richer and more dynamic storytelling capabilities, has become increasingly popular among advertisers. Chinese outbound advertisers are exploring various video ad formats to better reach their audience. As of September 2024, the number of active Chinese video advertisers grew by over 45%, with the volume of video ads served increasing by more than 145%.

The event also highlighted several new products and advertising technology solutions aimed at enhancing the relevance of Amazon DSP ads, as well as new measurement tools (such as AI-driven multi-touch attribution models and Amazon Marketing Cloud). Other innovations included an AI Creative Studio with tools for generating images and videos to help advertisers create engaging creative assets. Daisy, CEO of eclicktech, shared her thoughts during the exchange:

Both parties discussed how to offer more targeted and specialized solutions for advertisers across various industries. Looking ahead, Yeahmobi plans to provide more detailed and refined campaign reports, offering comprehensive feedback on campaign performance across different metrics. The goal is to enable more efficient campaign optimization, with real-time adjustments based on data insights to improve advertising effectiveness. Furthermore, the new solutions will provide deeper, more specialized measurements for ad performance, ensuring higher-quality advertising execution. Through this collaboration, Yeahmobi are set to help Chinese outbound companies improve their advertising strategies, enhance their presence in international markets, and drive substantial growth.
