Recently, the China-Latin America Internet Development and Cooperation Forum concluded successfully in Xi’an. Under the theme “Sharing New Opportunities in Digital Development, Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace for China and Latin America”, the forum brought together representatives from government departments of China and Latin American and Caribbean countries, diplomatic envoys to China, international organizations, internet enterprises, think tanks, media and institutions to discuss cooperation plans in the internet sector.

Digital technologies are reshaping the China-Latin America industrial chain collaboration system across the Pacific. Particularly in cross-border e-commerce, Chinese enterprises are opening up new blue oceans in the Latin American market with innovative models, relying on mature digital ecosystems and supply chain advantages.
