Recently, the eclicktech x Tencent AI + Programmatic Advertising Workshop was successfully held at Tencent Binhai Building in Shenzhen. Daisy Wu, CEO of eclicktech, Maggie Xu, General Manager of zMaticoo, Roger Lu, Senior Technical Director, and representatives of the technical team, along with Jiang Jie, Vice President of Tencent, Wang Qian, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, Wang Muyuan, General Manager of Tencent Advertising Business Platform Department, Tian Feng, General Manager of Cloud Native in North China at Tencent Cloud, and numerous senior technical experts, conducted in-depth discussions on topics including AI-powered efficiency improvement in programmatic advertising and the joint construction of a global business ecosystem.
Amid the continuous advancement of a new round of artificial intelligence technologies, the global intelligent marketing industry is undergoing profound transformation, with precision, automation and efficiency emerging as the industry’s key buzzwords. As a leading enterprise in China’s internet industry, Tencent boasts over 10 billion traffic impressions, reaching 90% of China’s internet users, and holds a significant leading position in user stickiness and usage duration. Based on this massive user ecosystem, Tencent has accumulated rich practical experience in the intelligent upgrading of its advertising platform over the years.
At the workshop, Jiang Jie, Vice President of Tencent, shared cutting-edge technological achievements focusing on AI-empowered marketing, intelligent delivery decision-making and deep conversion models. He pointed out: "Technical support has played a crucial role in the intelligent transformation of Tencent’s advertising business. In particular, the widespread application of current AI and machine learning (ML) technologies has made it possible to intelligently match marketing needs without compromising user experience."
Roger Lu, Senior Technical Director of eclicktech, agreed and added: "AI-driven algorithms can continuously analyze massive amounts of data to real-time optimize bidding, ad delivery and creative content. ML technology, on the other hand, enables in-depth audience segmentation by analyzing users’ browsing history, purchasing behavior and demographic information, delivering highly personalized ads to users and significantly boosting user engagement."
