Cooperation|Eight Years of Riding the Digital Tide: eclicktech and Alibaba's Journey of Shared Growth

eclicktech has stood alongside Alibaba Group, witnessing China’s global expansion industry evolve from initial frontier exploration to today’s refined operations—from Lazada’s foray into Southeast Asia as an e-commerce platform, to the global growth of Alipay International, and the reinvention of technological innovation through “Cloud + AI”.

Since their first collaboration in 2019, eclicktech has supported the global expansion of multiple Alibaba Group projects, including alibaba.com, Lazada, AliExpress and Alipay. For instance, as the global marketing service provider for AliExpress’ maiden overseas launch, eclicktech built a closed-loop marketing ecosystem through diversified and integrated performance advertising strategies focused on new user acquisition. This effort delivered a 231% increase in conversion rate and a 1.5x improvement in retargeting ROI on the app. When Lazada expanded into the Southeast Asian market, eclicktech supported its growth through brand promotion, performance marketing and product selection strategies, helping it achieve over 11 million page views during Double 11 and a 380% year-on-year increase in total transaction value.

To date, eclicktech has provided overseas marketing promotion services for Alibaba for consecutive years, earning the title of “Best Supplier” and supporting the long-term, steady growth of its cross-border e-commerce and overseas businesses.

While supporting Alibaba’s overseas e-commerce businesses, Alibaba Cloud has also become a close partner of eclicktech in intelligent marketing and digital services.

eclicktech first entered into a business partnership with Alibaba Cloud back in 2017. In 2023, it officially became an Alibaba Cloud reseller partner, driving the digital transformation of global enterprises through a dual-engine approach of “cloud service solutions + marketing solutions”. In the same year, the two parties deepened their strategic cooperation, leveraging Alibaba DAMO Academy, ModelScope Community and the eclicktech Joint Innovation Laboratory to achieve ecological connectivity in areas including intelligent dialogue, creative asset search, copy generation and marketing innovation, accelerating the full application of AI in global marketing.

In 2024, AI became an even deeper shared focus for both parties. eclicktech and Alibaba Cloud jointly launched the new “AI Marketing + CI Cloud Service” solution for enterprise digital and intelligent transformation in global expansion. Built on cloud infrastructure technology services, this solution accelerates the full application of AI in global marketing, helping enterprises improve global operational efficiency and support rapid business growth at lower costs. Also in 2024, the two parties announced multiple breakthroughs in programmatic advertising based on Alibaba Cloud’s AI platform, Tongyi Large Model, as well as its big data and cloud-native technologies.

It is fair to say that Alibaba Group and eclicktech have mutually empowered and grown as partners throughout each other’s development. Entering 2025, their cooperation will expand more broadly and deeply based on continuous improvements to the stability and resilience of business and technical architectures, focusing on leveraging AIGC to drive ongoing efficiency gains in advertising and marketing scenarios, as well as upgrading capabilities in programmatic advertising. Driven by the AI wave, the two parties will jointly expand more application scenarios in marketing sub-sectors, build cross-industry global expansion service solutions, and help global brands succeed in markets worldwide.
